What is the length of stay permitted on UK student visa?
You can stay in the UK for the duration of your study program plus an additional period. The extra duration of stay will be granted based on the type and length of course. International students that will be pursuing a program of 12 months or more can stay in the UK -
Up to 1 month before the start of the program, and
Up to 4 months after the end date of the program opted for.
What is the cost of UK student visa?
You must pay £490 (approximately INR 30,000). You will be required to pay an additional amount as the healthcare surcharge. This will be calculated based on your total years of study and number of dependents (if any).
What is the processing time for a student visa for the UK?
You can expect your UK student visa application to be processed within 3 weeks of submission. The processing time begins when the complete application – with all required documents and complete accurate information – is received by the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). The processing time ends when a decision is reached on your UK student visa application.

There are certain eligibility requirements to be met before you can be granted your UK student visa. You must -
Have an unconditional offer from a UK educational institution which is a licensed student sponsor
Possess a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) issued by that UK institution
Prove that you have the required level of English language ability. If applying for IELTS, you will need to get an overall of Band 5.5, Band 6, or Band 6.6.
Have enough funds with you. The funds requirement will be based on whether you will be going alone to study in the UK or take your dependents along with you.
